About App Ready
App Ready
App Ready (AR) is an all-in-one web tool that helps indie developers launch apps. STUDIO offers free App Store and Google Play screenshot resizing and background removal; ICONS offers free Lucide and Iconify icon search.
- All image processing runs in the browser (Canvas API, TF.js)
- Korean, English, and Japanese localization
- No sign-up required — use STUDIO and ICONS immediately
How to use
STUDIO (screenshots & background removal)
Open [STUDIO] in the header, upload an image, choose an option, process, and download.
- Upload or drag and drop a PNG, JPG, or WEBP image (max 10MB per file).
- Choose either Background removal or App Store / Play Store screenshot editing. These two options cannot be used at the same time.
- For screenshot editing, select the target store, device, and resolution.
- Click Process. Conversion runs in your browser; results appear in Live Preview and the Asset Library.
- Download individual files or a ZIP. ZIP is offered when you have two or more files totaling over 10MB.
ICONS (icon search)
Open [ICONS] in the header to search Lucide and Iconify icons and download SVG files.
- Enter a keyword in the search box (e.g. cloud, heart, lucide:home, iconify:home).
- Preview results from Lucide and Iconify.
- Check the license via View source, then download SVG.
FAQ
- Are uploaded images stored on your server?
- No. All processing runs in your browser. Original and processed images are never sent to or stored on App Ready servers.
- Can I use background removal and screenshot editing together?
- No. Pick one option per run. Process and download, then start again with a new upload for the other feature.
- Which file formats are supported?
- You can upload PNG, JPG, and WEBP. Store screenshots export as JPG; background removal exports as transparent PNG.
- Do I need an account?
- No sign-up is required. Screenshot editing and background removal in STUDIO, and icon search in ICONS, are free to use.
- Where do I search for icons?
- Use the dedicated [ICONS] page in the header for Lucide and Iconify search.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes, in mobile browsers. Background removal (TF.js) may take longer depending on device performance.
Related tips
- Check App Store and Google Play device resolutions before submitting screenshots.
- Use simple backgrounds and large UI elements so reviewers and users can read your screenshots quickly.
- For background removal, shoot or export against a solid color that contrasts with the subject.
- Process multiple images at once and download a ZIP with App Store and Play Store folder layouts.
- Use the [ICONS] menu for a wider layout when browsing icons.
- Narrow results with prefixes like lucide:home or iconify:search.
Who runs App Ready
App Ready is built and operated by Nomadic Jeikei, a solo developer. It grew out of the friction of shipping apps firsthand — the goal is to let you finish the repetitive prep work (screenshots, icons, background removal) for free, right in the browser. Questions and suggestions are always welcome.
